die Corona-Pandemie scheint vorbei. Doch die Nachwirkungen spüren wir immer noch – besonders junge Menschen und natürlich auch Erwachsene. Und an vielen Orten gibt es Krisen und Konflikte und sogar kriegerische Auseinandersetzungen und Bürgerkriege.  Deshalb möchten wir wieder unsere „symbolische Welle um die Welt aus Solidarität zu jungen Menschen“ im Mai zwischen dem 17.  und 26. Mai 2024 durchführen. Es wäre super, wenn viele von euch eine oder mehrere Aktionen durchführen zur Unterstützung von jungen Menschen durchführen würden. 2008 haben wir einmal einen Lauf für „Frieden und Toleranz“ durch den multi-kulti Stadtteil Wolfsburg-Westhagen mit dem LandesSportBund Niedersachsen und vielen anderen Gruppen, Vereinen und Schulen durchgeführt (Zum Artikel hier klicken). Zur Vorbereitung hat eine Grundschule-Klasse damals gefragt, „woher kommen deine Eltern“. Und viele Eltern dieser Kinder kamen von weither. Fahrradfahren und mit dem VW-Käfer in Chiang Mai / Nordthailand, mit dem Motorrad durch Malaysia fahren, Gartenarbeit in Slowenien, Wandern in Österreich und einiges wird noch dazu kommen. In der näheren und weiteren Umgebung Fahrradfahren in Klein Oesingen, den Hund ausführen in Sulingen, mit dem VW-Bus durch Nörten-Hardenberg fahren, die Wohnung und Kuchen backen in Wolfsburg aufräumen. Wir selbst beginnen unter dem CVJM-Motto „Leib, Geist, Seele“ am 17. Mai mit einem Nordstadt-Volleyball-Abend (Volleyball zurück zum YMCA/CVJM), 18. Mai eine Vorstands-Sitzung zum 70-jährigen Jubiläum des Wolfsburger CVJM und private Aktionen über Pfingsten, 21. Mai der Westhagener FerienSportAbend, 22. Mai Aktionen mit und für geflüchtete Menschen, 22. Mai Vorbereitungstreffen Sponsorenfahrt, 23. Mai Aktionen an Schulen, 23. Mai Aktionen mit und für geflüchtete Menschen, 24. Mai  Aktionen mit und für geflüchtete Menschen, 25. Mai 30. CVJM-Fahrradsponsorenfahrt und am Sonntag, 26. Mai, ein Gottesdienstbesuch. 

 

Schwerpunkt unserer symbolischen Welle in Wolfsburg ist die 30. Fahrrad-Sponsorenrundfahrt für Projekte für Kinder und Jugendliche am Samstag, 25. Mai 2024, treten wir wieder kräftig in die Pedale. Das Grußwort hat Arwin Langenstraßen, Vorsitzender des CVJM Landesverband Hannover. DANKE! Wieder sammeln wir für Projekte in Südamerika (Chile), Afrika (Nigeria), Asien (Kambodscha + Indien) und Europa (YMCA Europa + Spanien + Wolfsburg) – also weltweit und weltumspannend. „Die Fahrradsponsorenrundfahrt setzt seit 30 Jahren ein Zeichen der Gemeinschaft, für Nächstenliebe und Solidarität. Ihr zeigt, dass ihr gemeinsam unterwegs seid, dass ihr aktiv seid und etwas bewegen könnt.“, schreibt Arwin Langenstraßer. Wir haben den Flyer / Handzettel beigefügt. In den letzten Jahren hat die „symbolische Welle für junge Menschen“ prima geklappt – obwohl sie nicht so einfach zu verstehen ist. Aber alle Fragen konnten zur Zufriedenheit aller geklärt werden. Daumendrückerinnen, Daumendrücker, Unterstützerinnen, Unterstützer vor Ort – dort, wo sie wohnen und gerade sind – haben mitgemacht. Laufen, Fahrradfahren, in den Gottesdienst gehen, Beten, Singen, Müll sammeln, die Straße fegen, mit dem Hund spazieren gehen, diskutieren, Volleyballspielen („Volleyball zurück zum CVJM“), Fußball, Handball, Badminton, Basketball, Tischtennis, Geburtstag feiern, im Garten arbeiten, der Schwiegermutter helfen, für die Nachbarin einkaufen, und vieles, vieles mehr. Keine große Aktion – einfach einige Minuten, eine halbe Stunde, einen Vormittag, einen Nachmittag, einen Tag bei einer Aktion an junge Menschen denken, in der Familie, in der Nachbarschaft, im Verein, in der Schule, in der Kirche, im Stadtteil und/ oder in der Welt. Vielleicht sammelt ihr auch Geld für Projekte für junge Menschen. Es w äre toll, wenn ihr uns über eure Aktion Bescheid gebt, es muss aber nicht sein. The corona pandemic seems to be over. But we are still feeling the aftereffects - especially young people and of course adults too. And in many places there are crises and conflicts and even armed conflicts and civil wars. That's why we would like to hold our "symbolic wave around the world in solidarity with young people" again in May between May 17th and 26th, 2024. It would be great if many of you would carry out one or more campaigns to support young people. In 2008 we ran a run for “Peace and Tolerance” through the multi-cultural district of Wolfsburg-Westhagen with the LandesSportBund Niedersachsen and many other groups, clubs and schools (click here for the article). To prepare for this,a primary school class asked, “Where are your parents from?” And many of these children's parents came from far away.
